Retire the Mortgage
Pay off the remaining mortgage balance of approximately $115,000, freeing roughly $35,000 each year currently spent on debt service and redirecting those resources toward ministry.
St. Paul Lutheran Church · 2026 Ministry Expansion Campaign
God has grown St. Paul’s ministry faster than our walls. Together, we are preparing room for the future of our church, school, and community.
Why now?
St. Paul’s congregation, school, early childhood center, worship services, groups, and community events touch the lives of around 300 people each week. During the week, roughly 150 people are on campus, and nearly every available room is already in use.
This is not a story of decline or crisis. It is the opposite: the mission has grown. The last major facility expansion was in 1993. Today, growth is being limited by square footage rather than by people, passion, or calling.
The campaign vision
Everything in the campaign is organized around Foundation, Growth, and Outreach.
Pay off the remaining mortgage balance of approximately $115,000, freeing roughly $35,000 each year currently spent on debt service and redirecting those resources toward ministry.
Build a flexible, multi-purpose Commons for Bible study, fellowship, school activities, meetings, staff needs, receptions, and future ministry — along with a safe, updated playground for children and neighborhood families.
Pair financial generosity with a personal commitment to serve, invite, encourage, or pray. New space is not an end in itself; it is a tool for sharing the Gospel and reaching more people.
Building room for ministry
The proposed Commons is a right-sized, flexible addition intended to solve many of St. Paul’s most pressing space needs without the cost of a full gymnasium.
Project costs and final scope are planning estimates from the campaign booklet.
Retire the mortgage and finalize architectural design for the Commons and playground.
Groundbreaking on the Commons and playground installation.
Complete and furnish the Commons.
